According to Cornerstone, today the local headhunting market moves around US$40 million with the participation of more than 100 companies.
Headhunting has grown exponentially throughout the region as more and more organizations are outsourcing their talent management, i.e. contracting strategic recruitment services, says Cornerstone.
Cornerstone.In Latin America, some of the countries with the highest demand for headhunting are: Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Uruguay, in addition to Ecuador and Panama, nations that, for the most part, in recent years have gone through socioeconomic crises that affect employability. Nevertheless, companies maintain the need for executives to lead industries in constant evolution, and this is where the headhunter’s role begins.
Sandra Cubas, managing director of Peru and Ecuador at Cornerstone, points out that there is a notorious growth in the region, which is due to the fact that companies understand the value of this market, the professionalization of the work model, the flexibility and trust in the services provided by the executive search practice, better known as Headhunting, not only for the search of executive profiles, but also for different specialized positions.
The headhunting landscape in Peru
.Years ago, the local market moved between US$5 million to US$7 million, by 2019 it moved US$25 million and, currently, more than 100 companies participate in the country, which move around US$40 million annually.
